That was a very satisfying ghost story! Perfect for the season and great to continue with the story begun in the attic (first the attic, then the cellar—very symmetrical!). I really enjoyed Napoleon's memories of his times with Illya at their home and later all their memories at the restaurant. Weaving that into the ceremony of the cleansing was very soothing. And Del is a very likable personality.
However!!! A cliffhanger ending!!!! Argh!!!!! I hope we don't have to wait until next Halloween for that mystery to be revealed!
