Ha! Awesome. I loved how Napoleon sometimes got embarrassed during narration.

This was absolutely terrific. Napoleon's voice - and Illya's, as seen through his - was spot on. Action adventure, hurt comfort, romance without stepping even a fraction out of character - I loved it all the way through. Thank you so much for sharing.

Oh my this was fun to read! Napoleon's voice as he's trying to figure out what in the world is going on is just wonderful. And so is the last line. Thank you.

I loved your fresh approach on the theme of how NS comes to realize how much he needs IK, but your restraint almost killed me. Sweet angst!

\o/ - you're archiving over here now! Yay! ::bounces excitedly::
What a truly sublime piece of writing this is: beautifully paced, measured, inventive, achingly satisfying.
I howled at this: "Look at the prizes you could win: a shotgun, a rocket launcher, a top-level surveillance system, twenty pounds of high explosive, a cuddly Russian..."
It's gone straight to my hard drive. Can't begin to thank you for posting it here. I really hope there'll be more from you before too long. Beautiful, beautiful work throughout. Thank you. :o)
