Got here from Crack Van -- isn't it fabulous to be recommended there? I don't read a lot in this fandom but I liked this story all the way through. The anger, hurt, misunderstanding, enlightenment all were believable and still characteristic of the guys. I love how there's no kissing of boo-boos -- once Napoleon is out of danger they really sluff off the injuries as SOP.
Thanks for an enjoyable read.

"Those type of people, the ones who think it's dirty and immoral, they don't deserve to see it."
Amen to this - what a great read. I loved the fact that it was Napoleon on the defensive this time with Illya being the one in charge. What can I say - a take-charge Illya is downright sexy.

What a terrific story - the angst, the hurt, the comfort. One thing I really loved was Napoleon's rock solid certainty that Illya would come for him, despite everything that had happened between them. He was angsting about so many other things but the possibility that Illya wouldn't come just didn't exist. It was simply a matter of when. I feel a little sappy for saying this but I thought that was *so* romantic.
Then there was this wonderful exchange - so perfectly in character.
"It's about time you got here," he croaked.
"I can't help it if your women insist on taking you to the most out of the way places."
