I really enjoyed this. I love Christmas stories anyway, and the idea of Napoleon taking care of Illya like this is lovely. Thanks for posting this story.
(Minor quibble - only because these things really stop me - WalMart wasn't around in the 60s. Maybe Gemco or Woolworths or even Sears or JCPenney [J.C. Penney back then, and they were much lower end then than they act today] for cheap stuff - just for future reference)
