Illya has amnesia and doesn't remember Napoleon. Or does he? His mind says no, his instincts say yes. This is a sweet yet sometimes angsty story that will warm the heart of any NS/IK fan. As usual.

My comment seems to have gotten lost. Ack.
But I really liked the story. I'm glad I got to read it. It was really beautiful. And the ending was cute.

I'm so glad you put this one online, Lee. It's terrific. I love the characterization -- this open man Illya might be without his memories, and this honorable, self-denying Napoleon, both seemed very in-character to me. Also, I loved all of the reminders that they've both been through horrible things, and they have a lot of baggage. And the suspense over how they're going to get past all of the reasons they shouldn't be together! Angst! Whee! Not to mention that *beautiful* declaration Napoleon makes. ::thud:: Just lovely.
